The estate

362 residences around one park

Royal Park occupies a prime position on the north-west coast of Mauritius, a short drive from Grand Bay in one direction and Port Louis in the other. The whole community — 362 residences in all — sits inside a single secured perimeter.

Residences

Residences

The majority of homes at Royal Park are freehold, single-storey villas held in full ownership. Alongside them sit six co-owned developments, each with its own character and its own syndic.

Each co-owned development has its own syndic and its own rules, while the central park, the perimeter and the shared amenities are looked after by the Home Owners Association on behalf of everyone.

The central park

The central park

Designed by Japanese landscape architect Colin Okashimo, the central park threads walkways between serene lakes and planted rest areas. It is maintained by the Home Owners Association on behalf of every resident, and is open to all of them.

Governance

Home Owners Association

Every homeowner at Royal Park is automatically a member of the Home Owners Association. The HOA maintains the central park and the shared amenities, and is the body through which residents keep the standard of the estate — and the quality of life in it — where they want it.

  1. Membership is automatic with ownership; there is nothing to join.

  2. The HOA maintains the central park and all common amenities.

  3. The AFRP council represents owners and takes decisions on their behalf.

  4. Residents raise matters with the council through the bulletin board on this site.
